Bermuda Triangle also known as the Devil's Triangle, is approximately triangular in shape, with three corners roughly defined by Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the Atlantic Ocean.
Legend says that many people, ships and planes have mysteriously vanished in this area.
Many theories have been given to explain the extraordinary mystery of these missing ships and planes: extraterrestrials, residue crystals from Atlantis, evil humans with anti-gravity devices, etc.
The area achieved its current fame largely through the efforts of Charles Berlitz in his 1974 book The Bermuda Triangle.
